A castle tower in Himeji castle was built in Edo era, and the castle tower is one of twelve castle tower that are still remain in Japan. It became World Heritage Site. The wall of Himeji castle is white, and the castle is sometimes called “Shirasagi-Jo(white egret castle)” because the white wall is very beautiful.
