Hoshitori chart(Chart used to record sumo tournament)
Hoshitori chard is the chart to record the result of sumo tournament. On Hoshitori chart, white dot(○) represents win, and black dot(●) represents loose.
Hoshi means star in Japanese, and until Edo era, people use dot to represent star. That is why the chart is called “Hoshi”tori chart.
Torikumi chart
Torikumi stands for games of sumo.
